In February 2026 we opened the Philisa Young Minds Academy and proudly fulfilled one of our longterm dreams.It is a community-based Early Childhood Development Centre for children from 3-4 years and from 4-5 years. We are specifically supporting single parents, grandparents, caregivers, foster parents, and families receiving social grants (SASSA).Our teachers Lauren Arendse, Liesl Africa, Wendy Tshwili and teacher and principal Caitlin Evans focus on holistic child development, play-based and child-centred learning while making sure the children can enjoy a loving and empowering environment.For further information, email us at: ecd@philisaabafazi.org. The monthly fee for a child is R150.
